Despite all these horrible realizations I had at the beginning of the semester, I found out I will receive a scholarship this semester. It's not much, but in the grand scheme of things, it's a little more than 50 percent of my costs of attendance. It's the best scholarship I've gotten so far at OSU, and that's a little surprising considering my mishap in online Stats this summer.
Sadly, my scholarship never posted. After three weeks, I finally emailed the professor in charge. Turns out, OSU didn't want to let me get the scholarship for the same reasons explained in the aforementioned blog posts. Thankfully, the School of Accounting pulled rank and said, "force it to post!" Today, I will receive my next car payment. Thank you SOA!
