France once again limits the rights of citizens. I find the last paragraph ironic. I remember being pissed that "overt religious symbols" were also banned a few years back. I'm not entirely understanding of the burqa, but quite frankly I know that a lot of women prefer it. I think it ridiculous that the punishment is a fine or a forced citizenship class. A woman who chooses to wear the burqa should be allowed to wear it.
