This endeavor is going slowly, but is quite successful. So far we have thrown out 3 big trash bags of stuff, 2 bags of paper recycling, 2 bags of plastic/glass recycling, and 3 boxes of give aways. His stuff is no longer on my dresser/in my closet/next to my bed/on the futon/on 2 bookshelves/in an extra dresser/etc. It has now been condensed to on the guest bed/on 1 bookshelf/in several tubs to stay here/in some boxes to take to school. Cleaning out your junk can be a major catharsis.
And thankfully I have officially put clothes in the closet. This is handy since I have too many to fit them all in one dresser. It was getting pretty hectic for me. I need to see all of my options at once, color coordinated of course!
