My life has been akin to a roller coaster the last few weeks. But my trials seem so simple and insignificant compared to some that some of my dearest friends are facing.
I appreciate the reminders that my life is blessed - that I am blessed. I also appreciate the examples of those close friends, one in particular, who face their trials with resilience and faith unshaken. They truly teach me how I can be better.
I am grateful for the storms through which I am passing, even if to others they may seem like spring showers. I'm also grateful for good friends who uplift me and show me their love no matter what. It not only sustains me, but inspires me to be that kind of friend to others in their time of greater need.
