Lately I've been a magnet for static electricity. Every time I turn on a light switch, get out of my car, or even get toast out of the toaster, I get a shock. Most of the time I even see sparks fly. It's gotten especially worse lately: now when I get home from campus with my iPod playing, moving my backpack across my back to get my keys out sends a shock through my ears via my headphones.
Trouble is, it's just me. My roommate says that occasionally she gets shocked, but not 50 times a day. I seriously don't know what to do. Any suggestions?
